11/03/2022 - Medicine Safety
This afternoon, Year 2 looked at medicines in PSHE. They started the session by naming as many different medicines as they could in groups. Next, they talked about why medicines are good for you but then also considered the rules for taking medicine which included: only taking medicine that a trusted adult or doctor has given to them.
25/02/2022 - Being Healthy
This afternoon the children in Year 2 started their new unit of 'Being Healthy' and looked at what being healthy meant in general and then were given some different scenarios of where people were struggling to keep to healthy habits. They had to note down some suggestions of what the person in the scenario could do to remain healthy with a new habit.
