Free verse poetry

Year 6 have created their own free verse poems themed on Space. After exploring poetry examples they understood that free verse had no rules for either composition or grammar. Using this knowledge they built their own word bank of vocabulary, built phrases around their ideas, then drafted their poem ready to perform.
