Times Table Rockstar

Please log in to TTRS using your login from your reading record and complete 30 minutes on here. Don’t forget I can log in too to see who has been on and for how long!

Reading

Please read your book for 30 minutes. This could be your school reading book, a book from home, an online reading book using the link on the previous page or something else you choose. 

Project

For project this afternoon I would like you to have a go at making a labelled model of a volcano. This can be out of anything you like, but remember to take pride in your work and send us a photo. We would really like to be able to make a display in school of the different model volcanoes. In school we are trying printing, but you could do a detailed drawing, painting, collage, 3d model...we have even seen an Earth made from food! How are you going to WOW us?

Handwriting

If you have a Y1 handwriting book, please complete page 16.

If you have a Y3 handwriting book, please complete page 10.

Again, please remember to copy the words carefully looking at the ascenders and descenders. It is not an activity to test your spelling and copying, it is to practise your handwriting.

Story

For the next 7 story sessions we are reading ‘The pebble in my pocket- A history of our Earth’. This is a really lovely story which is recorded over 7 videos. It would be great if you could listen to each day of the story as it tells a really special story.
