    A very warm welcome to

    Spilsby Primary Academy

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Spilsby Primary Academy website and thank you for taking an interest in our school. We hope that the website gives you a feel for our school as well as providing up to date information for our pupils and parents.

At Spilsby Primary Academy we put the children at the heart of everything we do and each day the hardworking staff strive to improve the provision, opportunities and experiences that we offer our pupils. We became part of the Infinity Academies Trust in April 2016 and we're delighted to be part of multi-academy trust that puts children at the centre of all they do.

Bringing History to Life in Years 3 and 4! Today, our Year 3 and 4 pupils worked together for a fantastic History hot-seating activity, taking on the roles of Romans, Britons and Anglo-Saxons. Pupils asked thoughtful questions and explored how different groups may have felt about the Romans leaving Britain and the Anglo-Saxons arriving. It was a brilliant way to develop historical understanding, speaking and listening skills, and the ability to consider events from different viewpoints. Lots of great discussion, curiosity and confident thinking on display! #SpilsbyPrimaryAcademy #History #KS2 #Romans #AngloSaxons #LearningTogether #Curiosity @infinityacademies

Cricket is coming to KS2! Over the next few weeks, our KS2 pupils will be taking part in a series of cricket sessions, developing their skills, teamwork and confidence while enjoying being active together. The sessions will give pupils the chance to practise key cricket skills including throwing, catching, batting and fielding, as well as learning more about the game itself. We are looking forward to seeing lots of enthusiasm, teamwork and maybe even discovering a few future cricket stars along the way! Have fun, KS2! #SpilsbyPrimaryAcademy #Cricket #KS2 #PE #ActiveChildren #Teamwork @infinityacademies
