Stay Safe Around Water This Summer The summer holidays are a wonderful time to enjoy paddling pools, swimming pools, beaches and days out near rivers or lakes. Please take a few moments to remind children how to stay safe around water. Children should always be closely supervised Never swim alone or enter open water without a responsible adult Choose lifeguarded beaches and recognised swimming areas Check signs, flags, weather conditions and tide times Remember that open water can be much colder and deeper than it appears If you get into difficulty, stay calm, lean back and float In an emergency, call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard at the coast The RNLI has useful water safety advice and family resources available here: https://rnli.org/water-safety Please help us ensure everyone enjoys a happy and safe summer. #WaterSafety #SummerSafety #FloatToLive #SpilsbyPrimaryAcademy

Gold Award Success for Our Pupil Wellbeing Champions! We are incredibly proud of our Pupil Wellbeing Champions, who have led the way across school throughout the year and have successfully achieved the Gold Wellbeing Award. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects their dedication, teamwork and commitment to promoting positive wellbeing across our school community. To celebrate their success, the children enjoyed a special afternoon tea with our pastoral teachers. Celebrating Success at Spilsby Primary Academy Last Monday, we came together for our annual Trophy Assembly, celebrating the fantastic achievements of pupils from across our school. Awards recognised success in many different areas, including creativity, sporting achievement, academic progress and excellence, community work, positive attitudes and contributions to school life. Reception Beach Party Day! What a fantastic way to end the school year by bringing the beach and summer vibes into the classroom! Our Reception children had a brilliant time paddling, enjoying a water fight, playing together and finishing the day with a delicious ice cream. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and wonderful memories made. A perfect sunny celebration to finish an amazing year in Reception!

Cinderella Rockerfella! A huge congratulations to our fantastic Year 6 pupils for their brilliant performances of Cinderella Rockerfella! The children filled the stage with confidence, humour, energy and plenty of memorable musical moments. We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, commitment and courage they showed, both during rehearsals and in front of their audiences. Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to bring the production together and to our families for supporting the children. Most importantly, well done to our amazing Year 6 pupils. Transition Days Start Tomorrow! We are so excited to welcome all of our pupils into their new classrooms for our Transition Days! Our staff have been busy preparing special packs for every child to help them feel happy, confident and ready for the year ahead. Pupils will spend time meeting their new teacher, exploring their new classroom and finding out about all the exciting learning and opportunities waiting for them. We cannot wait to see everyone moving on up!
