This week is our last week of learning about Lent. First, watch the video below to recap about Lent. Once you have done this, research how churches look during lent and design a stained glass window that would represent Lent: think carefully about giving, forgiveness and being thankful and represent this in your design. Purple is a symbolic colour for Lent and is used for two reasons: firstly because it is associated with mourning and so anticipates the pain and suffering of the crucifixion, and secondly because purple is the colour associated with royalty, and celebrates Christ's resurrection.
