Introduction
Please spend the time listening and watching the introduction video below, so that you are clear of the expectations for this week's remote learning.
As stated in the video, feedback will be provided by an adult for work emailed in using the gmail address, so please make use of this.
Additionally, I will be reading the class book to the children in school on a Friday afternoon at 2:00pm. I would like children at home to have the opportunity to be involved in this and can be done by using Microsoft Teams. This can be done through an internet browser or can be downloaded as an app on most devices. If you would like to be involved in this then please email Mr Roberts on the email address below by 3:00pm Thursday, so that a link can be sent to attend this.

Lesson 3: Phonics - Please complete pages 24 and 25 in your CGP book.
Lesson 4: English - Please create a report or poster all about the popular toy - Lego!
In your report or on your poster I would like you to include all of the information you found out yesterday. Remember to make your work stand out and grab the reader's attention!
Lesson 5: Project - Because our current project is a history based project, we need to be familiar with using different words to show how you move through time. For example,
Past - Yesterday, I went to the shop to buy some bread and milk.
That sentence is in the past because it has already happened and the time adverb 'yesterday' shows that it was in the past.
Present - Today is Thursday 7th January 2021.
This sentence is the present because it is happening now.
Future - Tomorrow, I am going to watch my favourite TV show!
This sentence is referring to something that is going to happen. The adverb 'tomorrow' shows that it is a future action.
Task - Look at the document below and see if you can think of a sentence for each of the time adverbs. These can be totally made up or they can be about what you actually did!
Lesson 6: Spellings - In school, children will still be completing their spelling tests. Please complete the spelling test for this week and then email Mr Roberts with a picture of your test and score.
