Please use the sheet attached below to read the scales and then order the mass. Once you have done this, find 5 items in your house and estimate the weight of them before ordering them. If you have scales, you could then weigh them to see if you were correct.

Today, I would like you to plan some writing about a potion and its effects. Think carefully about your word choices to make them exciting and make sure you plan your adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs especially. Over the next couple of lessons you will be writing about it so make sure your plan is as helpful as possible.

This week I would like you to practise some more using adverbs. Below is an adverb word mat. Please pick 5 words you know the meaning of and use one in each sentence. Could you change the position of the adverb in your sentences so they're not all the same?

Think really carefully about your shapes and see if there is more than one way of drawing a shape with the same perimeter.

Today, please continue with the writing for your potion. Reread what you have done so far to check your punctuation and all of the things on the list from yesterday. Remember to make it the best it can be!
