Non Chronological Reports
Allotments
Year 6 researched allotments to create their non-chronological reports. They looked at what made a successful plot, what difficulties could be faced and the history of allotments. They even looked back to their previous project ‘Britain at War’, to delve deeper into the Dig for Victory Campaign.
There next steps were to plan their report using the structure and layout that they had seen in their research. Using a variety of grammatical features they composed their paragraphs, decorated their work and published their final reports.
