Newspaper Reports
Year 6 created historical newspaper reports about RFScott’s Antarctic Expedition. Using research from their history lessons, dates, facts and diary entry notes, they drafted their reports. Attention was paid to the writing features specific to newspaper reports and in addition, they used their own personal writing targets to produce a report to the best of their ability.
