Poetry and Poppies Workshop
Year Five enjoyed taking part in a drama workshop led by the West End in Schools at the beginning of the project.
Using body language, tone of voice and facial expressions the children performed different war themed poems. They used this to help influence the freeze frames they created.
Persuasive Posters: Year 5 looked at how propaganda posters were used during the war to encourage people to play their part in the war. Using these posters as inspiration, they created their own persuasive poster that included the features identified on the propaganda posters used during the war.
