Non- Chronological Reports
As part of their MAAFA work, year 6 completed research into the Windrush Scandal. They took part in group and partner discussions to build a picture of the events that led to black people arriving from the West Indies and the troubles that followed.
They then planned their reports to help explain the influx of immigrants from the Caribbean, their contribution to rebuilding Britain, their lives and hardships, and the final apology from the government. attention was paid to which organisational devices would present their work clearly to the reader.
