24/03/2022 - Introduction to Position and Direction
This morning, Year 2 were introduced to the new vocabulary for the new unit of learning. They went outside and followed directions and then completed some activities to consolidate their understanding of directions.
02/03/2022 - Introduction to Fractions
During this lesson, the children spent some time exploring their new unit of fractions. They identified the numerators and denominators in different fractions; understood that the denominator represented the total number of equal parts and then began to fold and shade in different fractions of shapes.
