Year 6 completed a local history to research a local person who had lost their life in World War 1. They then used a variety of websites to take a closer look at life in Spilsby before they went to war, the regiment that they joined, the role they had in their regiment and the activities and battles they were involved with before they died at war.  
Working in small groups, they then created a joint book to commemorate the life of the soldier.
