Innovate Week
Year 6 began their fundraising focus for the Innovate Week challenge. First, they researched their chosen charity - the British Heart Foundation. They then drafted their own emails to offer their support to the charity and praise their wonderful work into treatments for heart disease. Next, they wrote a persuasive letter to a chosen business in Spilsby to ask for support with their fundraising Dodgeball Tournament. They worked hard on recognising the different layout and structures between electronic mail and a handwritten letter, as well as focusing on the inclusion of year 6 statutory words. Finally they created leaflets to promote a healthy lifestyle.
