The French alphabet
To help the children understand the different sounds they would use when speaking French, the children participated in a listen and repeat activity. After learning the different sounds they joined in with the song and then practised spelling their own names with a partner.

Les couleurs
The children learned the colours of the rainbow, focusing on the pronunciation of each word. They then played a beat your partner game by listening attentively to the new vocabulary, and correctly choose the correct cube.
Les animaux domestique
This week the children learned the different names for household pets. They learned to say what animals they had and also which animals they liked.
At the butchers
At the butchers
This week, the children learned vocabulary to ask for items at the butchers. They built a conversation and took turns to be the customer or butcher. Emphasis was put on clear pronunciation.
