Please read your book for 30 minutes. This could be your school reading book, a book from home, an online reading book using the link on the previous page or something else you choose.

This term we are learning about Lent in the religion of Christianity. Do you know anything about Lent already? First, follow the link below and watch the video about what Lent is. After this, draw a picture in your book of what you are going to try and give up for lent this year and write a sentence about why you might find this difficult and why you chose that thing, it is only for 40 days. Remember it should be something you will miss for a short while, not something easy. This week Lent begins on 17th February so you don't have to give anything up just yet!
