Spilsby in the Community

Eresby Hall Care Home

Choir were delighted to be asked by Eresby Hall to go and sing Christmas songs to the residents. The children sang beautifully and the residents really enjoyed it, singing along with the well-known carols. We’ve been invited to go back and sing for them again, which we’ll be more than happy to do.

Sterling work from our eco warriors today! Giving up their lunchtime to litter-pick outside the school grounds. Definitely making a difference and building skills for life.

Christmas is definitely the time for thinking of others at Spilsby. Collaborating with the Christian Fellowship, we have supported 22 of our families with Christmas stockings & food hampers this year. Massive thanks to Judith and Kerri for your efforts with this!

Always fantastic to receive a letter from people in our community.

Great to be part of Into Film Film Festival today. Our Y6 children, together with St Nicholas Primary, watched ‘Where is Anne Frank?’ in preparation for their Britain at War project.

Y6 took part in a ‘Magistrates in the Community presentation. Two real life Magistrate representatives joined the class to deliver an amazing role-play experience for the class. Many children took key roles but all played the part of a Magistrate: listening to and discussing evidence, and deliberating the punishment and compensation. The children asked mature questions and listened intently to all that was being said. A massive well done to them all.

A brilliant morning for the Infinity Academy Cup. Great to have our schools together. Thanks to St Thomas’ for hosting and congrats to St Nicholas Primary for the win, and to our team who picked up the sportsmanship award!!
