Hello and welcome to Year 5!

A few things to let you know:

On this page you will be able to access information about your child's class and the pages for all our projects. Within these pages you will find; home learning, knowledge organisers and pictures of what we are learning in school. 

Staff:

Year 5 are extremely lucky to be supported by Miss Cobb and Miss Goodacre. We can't wait to see all the exciting things we will do!

P.E

Children will continue to come to school in their P.E kits on their allocated P.E days. Please consider the weather and ensure appropriate clothing and footwear (in line with our school uniform policy) are worn. Please remember to clearly label ALL items of uniform. Our P.E days this year are Monday and Friday. 

Water:

Please also ensure your child only has water in their bottle that they will use throughout the day, they may drink squash with their lunch. 

Home Learning:

The children will have their reading book which will go home with them, and I encourage the children to read aloud to you as much as possible. This will help support their reading fluency, enjoyment of reading and help support them in making progression with reading. This should also be supplemented by the frequent use of Times Table Rockstars in order to aid the rapid recall of times tables (up to 12x12).
