Reception C have been creating their own self-portraits. We looked at our similarities and differences. We chose the colours for our eyes, hair and skin carefully and cut the wool to match the length of our hair.
Reception C were very excited to have received a letter from Rainbow Royalty. The King and Queen of Rainbow town wanted us to help to plan a Rainbow feast. The children have started to make their party plans.
We have been discussing bonfire night and how to stay safe. We also created our own firework picture using an ICT programme.
The children have been learning about Divalli and then made their very own Diva lamps. The children used ModelAir to shape into a Diva and then once it was dry, they painted them.
We celebrated Children in Need 2019 by dressing up!
We received a letter from Jack Frost asking us to make our room into a Winter Wonderland ready for a visit from Santa and his elves! We designed our own Winter Wonderland plans and used our phonics knowledge to write some letters on to our plans.
We received another letter from Jack Frost telling us that Santa was having trouble starting his sleigh. He asked us if we could help Santa by designing a new way for him to be able to deliver his presents. We used Lego, junk modelling or drawing to design our plans. The children had some great ideas!
We have had a visit from the Kindness Elves. They have been setting us some kindness missions!
