999 EMERGENCY SERVICES DAY!
The Fire Crew, Police, Ambulance Service, Crime Investigators and Lives First Responders came into school for our 999 Day. We have had such an amazing time learning about what to do in an emergency and the meaning of ICE (In case of Emergency). We learned all about the different vehicles, with all the extra fun parts like the sirens and hoses, rules and responsibilities in the Police Force, fingerprints and DNA, how to save lives using CPR and dressing up in the different uniforms. It has been such a fabulous opportunity and the children have got up close to the people in the community who are there to help us. A huge thank you to Mel Standbrook for organsing the day and to all the emergency service staff who have made this day such a memorable experience for the children.
