We explored capacity a few weeks ago so it would be helpful to revisit this. All you will need is a variety of containers and something to fill them with such as water, sand, rice, etc. Let your child explore filling and emptying, encouraging them to explain the capacity using the words; FULL, EMPTY, HALF FULL, NEARLY EMPTY. Encourage your child to compare 2 or 3 containers, explaining the differences.
