British Science Week 2019
The theme for this year's science week was 'Journeys' and this can be from the big migration journeys that animals make each year to the journeys that children make from classroom to classroom throughout the day.
Below is the assembly that was delivered to the children at the start of the week. There are some examples of different journeys as well as some links included to videos, which demonstrate these.
Here are some activity packs provided by the British Science Association, the children had the opportunity to take part in some of these during the week in school but some can easily be done at home!
There is also information in the Primary Resource pack about the National Poster Competition, which the children can enter by bringing in their posters to Mr Roberts by the end of the week.
