Welcome to our class page!
On this page you will be able to find links to all of the recent activities that have been completed by Class 4 and other useful information.
The second exciting project that we are going to be looking at this academic year is 'Tremors'. This is an imaginative learning project which will look at many geographical aspects of the Earth. The memorable experience for this will take place during the first week, during which we will complete 5 different activities related to earthquakes and volcanoes.
Further information about our project work can be accessed using the link at the bottom of this page.
Homework was handed out before half term, and this takes the form of task based activities. Children need to complete one activity from each section: Maths; English and Project, therefore completing three activities out of the six choices. There are three hand in dates across the term highlighted on the homework sheet.
Year 4 will have two P.E sessions across the week; one with JB Sports and the other with the class teacher. Please ensure that the children bring in their P.E kit on a Monday morning and then take it home on a Friday as this means the children will have their kit should there be a change in timetable.
As the children continue through the Junior stage of school they will be encouraged to be more independent with their learning and resources within school. Please continue to support your child's reading and spelling practice - making a note in their reading record.
Spelling tests take place on a Tuesday, with the new spellings being handed out in the same session. Children who score 10/10 in the test will receive two credits for their success!
