The curriculum at Spilsby Primary Academy is aimed to inspire and excite pupils through the Cornerstones curriculum. These imaginative learning projects are designed to inspire children, improve their understanding and help them express themselves. The majority of our curriculum is delivered through the project theme and children work towards an end product. This end product may be a presentation to parents, a film, play or even a workshop.
Our learning is placed in "real life" contexts wherever possible so children see value in developing new skills, knowledge and understanding. The academy incorporates its seven values, the Spilsby 7 into all our learning projects.
Spilsby Primary Academy has implemented the new 2014 National Curriculum whilst retaining its cross-curricular project based approach to teaching and learning. Please take the time to visit the class pages to view the latest projects or come along to our many curriculum events to see the outcomes.
