A Very Warm Welcome to The Year 3 Class Page

Welcome to our class page!

On this page you will be able to find links to all of the recent activities that have been completed by Class 3 and other useful information.

We have a very busy term coming up with THREE projects to cover. These are: Tribal Tales; I am Warrior and Traders and Raiders. The children have all finished the first two projects and are now underway with Traders and Raiders!

WOW Event - Please not due to change in circumstances within school, this event is now Wednesday 3rd July 2019, 1:30pm - 2:30pm.

Further information about our project work can be accessed using the link at the bottom of this page.

Homework has been handed out to children, this will differ from previous terms as we are now completing three projects across two terms as oppose to just one per term. This time children need to complete one piece of homework from each table on the sheet and this is for each project.

Year 3 will continue to have two P.E sessions across the week; one with JB Sports and the other with the class teacher. Please ensure that you bring in your P.E kit on a Monday morning and then take it home on a Friday as this means the children will have their kit should there be a change in timetable.

Now that the children are in the Junior stage of school they will be encouraged to be more independent with their learning and resources within school. Please continue to support your child's reading and spelling practice - making a note in their reading record.

Spelling tests take place on a Thursday, with the new spellings being handed out in the same session. Children who score 10/10 in the test will receive two credits for their success!

If you would like any further information or have any ideas/experiences that could benefit the children's learning, then please do not hesitate to contact me either using the email link below, leaving a message at the office or catching me at the end of the day.

Many thanks

Mr Roberts
