Our home learning is just the

' tip of the iceberg' !

Our home learning for the half term holidays was to create a 3D model of the Titanic. This  could be anything from a model ocean liner to a sinking boat scene. Children could also draw a picture or study the Titanic and create an information piece from it.

The results which appeared in the playground on Monday morning was breathtaking and left Mrs Pitfield speechless. Take a look at the photographs of our fabulous models.

You should all be very proud of your hard work and Thank you to parents for their support in helping their children.

Attendance bear has a clean start

Year 2 are proud to have won the Key Stage 1 attendance bear three weeks in a row. This week we had a record breaking 99.57% attendance figure. Coughs and colds don't stop Year 2 learning !!!

However this week we noticed that the bear looked a little grubby so Mrs Pitfield took him home and his adventure began.

After a short car journey, bear found himself in Mrs Pitfield's kitchen, the smell of tea made him hungry. However he was placed in a shiny black machine with some rather smelly socks. All of a sudden, water began whooshing in and the world got a little wet and dizzy. Eventually it stopped spinning and bear reappeared, all soggy but very white and smelling beautiful !

Mrs Pitfield then tucked bear up on the radiator and he has been there all weekend getting warm and fuzzy. He can't wait to show the children on Monday morning his lovely new fur.
