The cartons provided useful consumer information such as ingredients, recyclability credentials, Fairtrade logos, bar codes and information on sugar content.
Our audience visited each team, sampling the smoothies, examining the packaging and questioning the teams. After a final pitch from each team, our audience was given tokens to 'spend' on the product that they thought was the most appealing.
We would like to say a big Thank You to all those grownups who took time to come and join us today and asked such excellent questions. We were thrilled with your positive comments, several of which will be on display in the foyer.
Perhaps, the best compliment of all was when the children were asked by audience members for their recipes! Well done everyone!
