This week we played one of our favourite maths reasoning games, called 'Tell me about...'.
The children are given a number, this week it was number 15, and then they have to tell me all the maths facts they can about this number. The challenge is also to make them as interesting as possible.
As you can see from the photos below, Hugh knew that 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 makes 15.
Oscar used number patterns to generate lots of facts.
Emma used 'Turn around facts' (Commutative law).
Arthur and Kian used many different maths skills and even included a fact in the context of money!
