As we had such amazing fun with Sir Teachalot this week, we gave our Maths Challenge a jousting theme. The children were told that Sir Teachalot's hoops each had a different value. The first was worth 1 point, the second 2 points and the third and fourth were worth 3 and 4 points. The children were then asked to find all the possible scores that someone could achieve on one run. The children were encouraged to use systems and patterns to help them, which they did!
