It has been an exciting week of discovery in Year 4 during Science week. This culminated in us opening our doors to parents to show them the range of science activities that we enjoy in school. We worked with Year 3 to offer several 'stations' that could be visited, indoors and outdoors. We used magnetism to guide and control objects, used forces to propel and slow balloon rockets and paper planes. We experimented with balloons and static electricity on our hair and on tissue paper snakes. At the Sensitivity Station children and adults could test their reactions. We also had a station to make spinning optical illusions.
The comment forms completed by the parents were extremely positive - thank you!
We hope that you enjoy the photographs. You can find more on the Year 3 page.
