This week we were looking at number patterns.

We followed a rule (e.g. add the digits together and then multiply by 2) and then saw what sequence of answers we got.

For example:  The starting number of 56 produced a sequence of:

56,  22,  8,  16,  14, 10,  2,  4,  8,  16,  14,  10 ...

A starting number of 64 gave:

64, 20, 4, 8, 16, 14, 10, 2, 4, 8

We made up another rule and the sequences we produced also repeated themselves.
